Bot for Mythera: install guide and first steps

Mythera uses an OTClientV8-based client whose top bar has text buttons instead of icons. XyroBot finds it just like any other and opens with Shift+X inside the game.

Installing

There is no install as such. You download the program, run it, and it attaches to the client you already have open. It copies no files into Mythera's folder and changes nothing in its configuration.

Opening the bot window

On Mythera the top bar does not take icon buttons, so the bot does not add one. The way to open and close its window is the same as on every other server:

• Shift+X opens and closes the XyroBot window.

It is the same combination everywhere, so you never have to remember a different one depending on where you play.

Several clients at once

You can open several Mythera clients on the same computer. When you run the bot, it loads into the first one that does not already have it. If every open client already has it, it tells you instead of trying to load twice.

Configurations

The first time, the bot downloads the profiles we maintain for this server. From then on, what you change is yours: it is never overwritten.

If something fails

The most common cause is the client running with administrator rights while the bot does not. In that case, run the bot as administrator too.
